Meet Peppa Pig in Cumbria this weekend

PEPPA Pig will be returning to the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway this weekend, after hugely-popular visits in recent years.

The children’s TV favourite was a huge hit with families having made her first appearance at the Cumbrian railway early last year, with each appearance being fully booked up.

Online tickets for this weekend's event - running on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 - are all sold out, but tickets are available to purchase on the day.

Peppa Pig will be making personal appearances at 11.15am, 1.15pm and 3.15pm, plus she’ll be appearing during story time sessions, led by a narrator, at 12.15pm and 2.15pm.

Purchase a "ride all day ticket" and hop on one of the trains to the activity marquee at Dalegarth where visitors will meet Peppa, with entertainment also included, and a chance to have a photo taken with the character.

The ticket includes full line return, narration story time and a meet and greet with Peppa, as well as the marquee activities and a half price family voucher to return later in the 2017 season.

Tickets are available on the day, and seats are on a first come, first served basis.
